Adult Day Program
FCDCP’s Adult Day Program offers a variety of programs and activities to assist adults with disabilities to progress, learn, grow, participate in the community, make new friends and have fun.

Recreation/Leisure: Board games, cards, movies, electronic gaming, puzzles, reading, live entertainment, swimming, TV, dancing, karaoke, chair volleyball, corn hole, air hockey.

Continuing Education: Cooking/baking instruction, nutrition classes, computer literacy, money skills

Arts and Crafts: Holiday projects, decorations, models, painting

Community Outings with Transportation provided: Shopping, bowling, eating out at local restaurants, County Fair, Lancaster Festival, horseback riding

Health Related: Exercise, walks, provide with assistive equipment

Nursing: Medication Administration, monitor blood levels for diabetics, make medical appointments, contact with primary physicians.

Other Optional Activities: Holiday celebrations, parades, Family Y, ordering take out lunch, cookouts, picnics at local parks, car washes, Bowl-a-thon, monthly birthday celebrations, visits to the hospital and nursing homes, singing in our chorus, chair volleyball.

FCDCP creates a safe, caring environment in which senior adults with disabilities can feel comfortable, stay active and enjoy themselves at the site and in the community.
