As a DSP (Direct Support Professional), you will serve as a friend, mentor, and support person to individuals with developmental disabilities. Each day is different, with the freedom to be creative in your work. You will provide individualized direct care, help plan and lead community engagement activities, and help develop skills for empowerment and independence.

Job Highlights

•Valid driver's license and car insurance
•Fewer than 6 points in the last two years on your motor vehicle record
•Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch
Responsibilities
•Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to encourage increased independence and empowerment while assuring each person's health and safety needs are being met at all times
•Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of achieving their goals
•Completing various tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe working environment
