FCdCP offers non-medical transportation for adults with disabilities and medical transportation in-county and out-of-county, and also offers transportation for other needs. (ie: shopping, banking, visitations and also funerals for immediate family members.)
The Transportation Department, under contractual agreements, transports for Meals on Wheels, Job & Family Services, Fairfield County Developmental Disabilities and Passport. The Center also qualified for Medicaid Ambulette Services. To qualify for Medicaid Ambulette services the client must be non-ambulatory and on Medicaid.
Our Drivers are fully trained, caring individuals who have undergone background checks, are certified in CPR, 1st Aid and Defensive Driving. FCDCP’s fleet of vehicles are wheelchair accessible. The Transportation Department’s main goals are to provide safe, punctual and courteous service to all of our clients.
