​The mission of Fairfield Center for disAbilities and Cerebral Palsy, Inc. (FCdCP) is to create a better future for people with disabilities by increasing and enhancing their lifestyle opportunities.

HISTORY

The foundation for the organization began on September 9, 1954 when United Cerebral Palsy was officially incorporated.  In January of 1981 the Fairfield County Council for the Disabled was established as a non-profit organization. In January of 1993 United Cerebral Palsy and the Fairfield County Council for the Disabled merged to create Fairfield Center for disAbilities and Cerebral Palsy, Inc. (FCdCP).  The purpose of the merger was to provide better delivery of the many services offered to the disabled and their families in Fairfield County. The Center is governed by a Board of Directors. It has a paid staff of 31 and a number of volunteers.
