Adult Day Program

ADULT DAY PROGRAM

  • Recreation/Leisure: Board games, cards, movies, electronic gaming, puzzles, reading, live entertainment, swimming, TV, dancing, karaoke, chair volleyball, corn hole, playing music.

  • Continuing Education: Cooking/baking instruction, nutrition classes, computer literacy, and money skills.

  • Arts and Crafts: Holiday projects, decorations, models, painting, etc.

  • Community Outings with Transportation provided: Shopping, bowling, eating out at local restaurants, festivals & fairs, Columbus Zoo trips, local farms.

  • Health Related: Exercise, walks, provide with assistive equipment.

  • Nursing: Medication Administration, monitor blood levels for diabetics, make medical appointments, contact with primary physicians.

  • Other Optional Activities: Holiday celebrations, parades, Family Y, ordering take out lunch, cookouts, picnics at local parks, car washes, Bowl-a-thon, monthly birthday celebrations, and singing in our chorus.
